Learn the basics of working with clay and several techniques for creating black and white surface decorations using underglaze.  Students will create and decorate a cup or plate to be fired in out kiln.  No experience required.  Registration includes material fee.

Come learn the basics of block printing! A type of relief printing. Block printing is one of the earliest methods of printmaking. Prints are made by carving into wood, linoleum, or rubber blocks, which are then inked and printed onto paper or other sufaces. In this class, we will be using easy to carve rubber blocks and water-based inks to create print on cards and paper. Course fee includes all materials.
